As the Business Development Manager at Zenitant, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and secure new business opportunities, while also nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients and schools. You will work closely with the Director and cross-functional teams to develop sales strategies, prepare proposals, and deliver exceptional customer service. Your role will encompass overseeing end-to-end project operations, managing client relationships, and supporting the Director in managing various programs. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the overall success of our company and help us deliver innovative educational solutions.
The jobholder **assists **the Director to:
1. Prepare comprehensive proposals and quotations for manual bids or through GeBIZ, adhering to clients' or schools' specific requirements.
2. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote our company's programmes to clients and schools, identifying and targeting key markets.
3. Drive business growth by securing new clients and expanding existing business through proactive sales and marketing efforts.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and schools, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
5. Oversee end-to-end project operations, collaborating with Operations, Administration, and Curriculum teams to ensure successful delivery of awarded or assigned projects, such as ICT, Design Thinking, and Science programmes.
6. Assist the Director in managing Microsoft programmes and other initiatives, providing support and coordination as needed.
7. Perform any other ad hoc duties as requested by the Directors, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in contributing to the company's overall goals and objectives.
**Academic/Professional Qualification/Requirements**
- At least a Degree in Education/Business/Marketing/Technology (or equivalent).
- At least 5 years teaching experience in MOE mainstream schools/educational institutions (private or public).
- For ex/current MOE teachers: experience in ICT department would be advantageous.
- For ex/current MOE teachers: Experience/Certifications in Business/Marketing/Technology (related fields) would be advantageous.
- Passionate in education and technology
- Adaptability and initiative.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
**Working Conditions**
The jobholder is expected to work from 9.00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays (either in office or remotely) Although the jobholder is largely expected to work in an indoor environment, he/she is also expected to travel where necessary to schools or organisations to support and supervise the delivery of the programmes.
