JOB TITLE: Shopper Marketing Executive - Beauty & Wellbeing

LOCATION: Singapore

MAIN JOB PURPOSE/BUSINESS CONTEXT:

- The core purpose of the role is to lead the delivery of in class brand experiences throughout a connected shopper journey and at the point of purchase, through unlocking shopper barriers and promoting triggers to purchase; to influence shopper consideration, help find and convince shoppers to purchase.
- Main job purpose is to partner and support the Customer Business Development team for the OTIF execution across all channels that Unilever plays in flawlessly; in alignment with the brand, channel & category jobs to be done which are translated into the annual activation plan
- This role develops and executes insightful shopper programmes, based on an intimate knowledge of our category, our shoppers, and our customers, and in doing so contributes towards the development of strong brand equities, supports our customer’s agendas, and therefore enables Unilever to win across channels. Three key areas of focus will be: 1) Building Brands in store; 2) Category Demand Projects 3) Retailer Partnerships
- Through this process, you will also be able to experience the exciting pace and development of Unilever’s business, plus gain a deeper understanding of the channel landscape in Singapore (e.g. who the key retailers are, what are their business models and how these business models function to drive commercial growth)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- To manage, liaise and be in control of the outputs from third
- party agencies and eCommerce enablers for all shopper activation-related activities, including but not limited to creative and retailer advertising assets
- Develop strategies and opportunities through analytics and value creation to drive growth with customers. Working collaboratively with the Account Management Team to put these action plans in to realize growth
- Recommending assortment, shelving, placement for the category across channels. Develop planograms along with selling story to build categories based on category and shopper insights.
- Sourcing best in class and Global learning to the retailer on assigned categories in order to ensure leading-edge category thinking.
- This position is critical in developing the entire Unilever relationship with the retailer and in ensuring that Unilever is seen as best in a class vendor partner
- Evaluating innovations in the marketplace and recommending listing status.
- Analytics on return on shelf space for all new innovation is required of the advisor position with ongoing evaluation of new items vs. the items being replaced
- Represent the Shopper Insight team interests of the Customer Business Development team and support the achievement of the Account/Brand/objectives/initiatives
- Supporting the annual Business Planning process, specifically the development of Trade Category Plans and Account Joint Business Planning, through data analysis and opportunity identification

- In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics, commercial environment, basic financial acumen
