Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain HRIS database and employee records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
- Manage the end-to-end payroll cycle, including but not limited to calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and related matters, providing exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with HR team to ensure accurate and efficient processing of new hires, terminations, and other employee changes
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and update payroll processes accordingly
- Prepare payroll reports, including tax filings, deductions, and earnings summaries
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures related to payroll and benefits administration
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Collaborate with finance and accounting departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of payroll transactions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in payroll administration, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems, HRIS, and related software (e.g., ADP, SAP, etc.)
- Familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
