This headcount is required to lead the shared services for Corporate Services events and support Assistant Director (Planning) in matters related to administration and resources.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team to provide shared services in logístical support for events by Corporate Services teams- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the administrative team for matters relating to mail and courier services, provision of office supplies, including upkeep and maintenance of office equipment- Assess and approve local transport claims for all faculty and staff of LKCMedicine, ensuring claims are in line with School’s guidelines- Review and improve procedures related to administrative systems and policies- Review specifications for School-wide insurance policies through coordinating inputs from all departments, renewing and maintaining policies, and evaluating proposals from providers- Work closely with the other teams within Plans & Governance department to set budgets and monitor expenses across administrative, events and planning portfolios- Participate in cross-functional committees for Corporate Services events, initiatives and ad-hoc projects

**Requirements**:
- Tertiary qualifications with at least 5 years of relevant work experience- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders- Strong administrative, organisational and problem-solving skills- Meticulous and detail-oriented- Strong customer service skills- Highly motivated, able to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic environment- Prior experience in event planning, strategic planning or higher education would be an advantage

This is a 3 years contract appointment.
