**About This Role**

**As **Head of Platform Delivery**, your key objectives will be to**:

- Drive large-scale, cross-functional programs from strategic planning and goals setting, through roadmap building, to execution and delivery
- Develop goals and objectives to define technical programs that enable delivery of a high-quality, scalable product in a timely manner
- Provide executive leadership with visibility into program status and technical metrics, including productivity, resource utilization/allocation, reliability and performance of our services and teams
- Look to continuously improve the engineering execution structures and processes with a data driven mindset, with the outcome of achieving motivated, high performance teams
- Setup frameworks to monitor and provide early warning on developer productivity
- Anticipate and quickly remove or highlight obstacles that negatively impact delivery of program outcomes and objectives
- Closely collaborate with product teams to drive the business outcomes of engineering and CountryX roadmaps in a timely manner with high quality
- Work closely with partners to align and onboard contractors on time to achieve delivery targets. Manage partner relationships and setup frameworks to monitor performance and productivity.
- In collaboration with SRE/DevOps teams, create a world class developer experience leading to high developer NPS and engineering productivity
- Inculcate best-in class engineering and delivery practices within all engineering teams
- Be a key driver of engineering process improvement in areas such as prioritization, planning, execution, tracking and cross-functional communication
- Proactively carry out resource planning to achieve a smooth delivery of commitments

**We are looking for individuals who have**:

- At least 16 years of experience with a proven track record of which 5 years are relevant leadership experience
- Experience in adopting and executing people strategies to set the foundation for high performance, motivated and productive engineering organizations which are distributed
- Experience in the agile Delivery methodologies such Scaled Agile, Scrum, Kanban.
- Knowledge and experience in different agile organization strategies and methodologies
- Experience on message based, microservices platforms, and cloud native architecture and engineering. Telco domain experience and knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Strong people management skills to lead and build high-performing teams
- Experience in Project and Product Management, and collaborating with Product teams and other stakeholders throughout the product life cycle from concepts to execution
- Experience in a product-based / start-up environment is highly advantageous
- Degree / Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
