**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
Responsible for sales in select accounts and for providing support to the sales team and Director of Sales. Assists with pricing proposals and analysis, cost analysis issues and resolution, sales analysis reports and interpretation.

This position is reporting to business director

**Direct Sales role**
- Responsible for sales revenue for the targeted accounts in a given markets and geographies.
- Role requires cold calling to customers, discussing customer needs, positioning Teknor solutions/offering for customer, working on quotations, order negotiations, order closing and following up on sales order.
- Driving sales growth in assigned B and C accounts.
- Activities include lead generation, lead qualification and funnel management.
- Handles customer enquiries and ensure that the opportunities are follow up closely and feedback to respective Sales Managers on time.
- Office-based role managing customers remotely, customer travel not required.

**Sales Support role**
- Maintains the quotation & price list and assist in preparation of the Sales Quotation for Commercial team with approval from Business Director.
- Responsible for sales forecast reporting
- Deals with customer issues prompted by sales, customer service, credit, and technical teams
- Responsible for reviewing, analysing and follow up on weekly & monthly sales performance in support of sales tracking to meet budgets
- Responsible for customer requisition process of sample, regulatory, & product complaints.

**Sales Data Management**
- Departmental power user of Cognos, M3, Com-activity and additional software packages.
- Participates as the departmental representative in Quality system, and in key IT projects to identify gaps/needs for the business by playing the role of a power user.
- Gatekeeper for TPE Safety Data Sheets and Product Data Sheets for commercial Team.
- Master Control document representative for the department.

Requirements: - Minimum Diploma in Engineering field or equivalent experience - Position requires between 3-5 years’ experience in inside sales / chemical field - Skilled in MS office user, especially Excel. - Excellent ability to communicate through phone and positively engage customers. - Strong tele-marketing ability. - Highly organized and able to work with little supervision. - Strong team player with a service-minded attitude, able to work independently and deliver results on time in collaboration with the team - Punctual, reliable, and professional - Proficient in both English speaking and writing for handling English speaking people. Other languages not required, but a definite advantage. Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm
