**THE POSITION**

The **VMI ACCOUNT MANAGER/ VIM SALES SPECIALSIT** to work closely with Key Account Manager(s) and Business Development Manager(s) to develop potential Vendor Managed Inventory and Logistic Solutions opportunities to clients and handle existing customers which use the company’s VMI package. This role implements and administers the Vendor Managed Inventory programs and processes for customers, through stock planning and monthly reviews. The staff is also responsible to carry the company’s brand as a trusted partner of our customers.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Good knowledge and hands on in managing existing Vendor Managed Inventory programs and Logistic Solutions.
- VMI customers’ demand analysis, based on customer requirement / expectations, design VMI solution, including layout, racks, bins, parameters setting.
- Build rapport with VMI customers, seek potential business, and solving customers’ pain points in area concerning VMI.
- Joint visits to customers together with sales, to explore and propose solution to fully meet customer’s requirement and fill gap, if any.
- Prepare and set up VMI hardware and software at customer site or any designated location and resolve any issue when and where needed.
- Deliver training to customer on how to use VMI and is the first contact for customers pertaining to VMI related queries.
- Manage Just-in-time/ Kanban system, including bin size, VMI list, label printing, etc, maintain 5S standards on site.
- Act as internal consultant and trainer to deliver training course to other colleagues on VMI solutions and services.

**CANDIDATES PROFILE**
- Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing Vendor Managed Inventory services, Inventory Replenishment, Supply Chain or Warehouse management. Additional sales experience would be added advantage.
- Good knowledge and experience in inventory management software and ERP usage.
- Teamwork within team and across departments
- Effective time and stress management.
- Multi-tasking in a fast-paced working environment
- Good communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills.
- Negotiation skills
- Proficient with MS office, Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Good command of Mandarin and English (may need to deal with Mandarin speaking vendors and colleagues)
- Process Class 3 Driving Licence.
