**YOUR ROLE**

**JOB PURPOSE**
- Manage a cost effective manufacturing process procedure in wafer fabrication, through the provision of engineering support to the production line, so as to achieve organization's targeted manufacturing index. Take full ownership on all engineering issues of assigned process.
- Maintain and support day to day manufacturing activities through real-time problem analysis and real-time solution implementation.
- Ensure smooth process flow with high quality, high yield, low cost by working with the Maintenance Specialists, Production Supervisors and Shift Engineers to achieve overall committed targets.
- Provide cross functional/cross-dept/cross-fab support & coverage based on need & priority.
- Training of new Engineers & imparting technical knowledge to them.
- Working on shift support as needed and return to normal shift for process project when assigned.

**Process Set - Up & Optimizations**
- Set-up process recipe of newly introduced processes or new process equipment or tools.
- Study the process window and robustness of the existing process, and provide the best fact-based process, product/process industrialization.

**Cross Functional Support**
- Liaise and align with MQA, Technology, Device, and other Module to achieve common goal in terms of quality, service, and cost.

**Documentation & Procedures**
- Ensure all processes are documented with properly written and clearly defined procedures in an electronic media.
- Update and maintain all line specifications electronically to align with the existing working process.

**Automation, Robustness & Continuous Improvement**
- Work with ICT for automation solutions for robust manufacturing operation mandatory WSO controlled qualification procedures, e-Star alarm monitoring and interlock, while quality and speed are not compromised.

**Fab Yield, D0, and Cost Support**
- Perform analysis and follow-up on all quality related problems in the department through cross-functional or task force team.
- Involve in cost reduction project to minimize all unnecessary waste of chemical, gases & test wafer.
- Improvement in Fab Yield.
- Reduction in Wafer Cost.

**Environment, Health & Safety**
- Maintain stringent safety standard, support CERT activities.
- Explore into ways and means to maintain EHS programs in daily work.
- Ensure use of Safety PPE and follow on all Safety & hazard procedures and protocol, eg LOTO, Line breaking procedures.
- Carry out duties in monitoring and maintenance of equipment and processes to ensure conservation of resources such as Energy, Water, Chemical and Gas. Eliminate or Minimal contamination to environment. (water, air or soil)
- Practice workplace and equipment 5S Housekeeping.
- Maintain following Audit System Standard : EMASISO14001OHSAS 18001Safety Management System (MOM)
- Adherence to ENVIRONMENTAL DECALOGUES, EHS policy
- Compliance to Corporate, local legislation. WSHA (Work Place Safety and Health Act)
