
Regional Consumer Market Insights Manager

Position Summary
The role is part of the Regional Marketing team and reports to the Head of Consumer & Market Insights (CMI).
It also requires a high level of interaction and partnership with key internal stakeholders (Country, Global CMI teams, Marketing and Product teams) and external business partners to embed insights and learnings into the business.
Role and Responsibilities
- Deliver on research fundamentals that deepen consumer & market knowledge and insights
- Market intelligence and analysis - market size, share, forecasts
- Manage 3rd party market data provider to ensure deliverables are on time and in full
- Macro Landscape & Consumer trends
- Collate category competitive intelligence from various sources
- Drive strategic and ad hoc research/insight work in partnership with our marketing and product category business units
- Accurately identify business issues and propose appropriate research design to address these needs
- Manage research projects end-to-end from brief to presentations/workshop
- Consolidation of data, learnings and insights from primary/secondary sources into a coherent narrative
- Identification of business opportunities from learnings and succinctly communicate them to BUs
- Partner with BUs to influence & drive action based on research insights
- Lead the regional social listening program
- Leverage social analytics platforms directly to extract key insights and learnings
- Managing agency partners to identify insights (buzz monitoring, ad hoc analysis and deep dives in support of marketing initiatives and product launches)
- Liaise with global and country PICs to ensure alignment of queries for key product launches
- Actively contribute to the improvement of CMI capability within the region (building efficiencies, standardization and improvement of existing tools, development of best practice, scoping of new tools, innovation and methodologies etc.) to support the business growth and expansion into new areas
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing or Business Administration, Statistics or any related field
- At least 10 years of professional experience in an Insight role (a combination of client and agency side)
- Solid foundation in market research methods and analysis (quantitative and qualitative)
- Strong analytical skills - i.e. ability to interpret data, generate insights and make recommendations
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to deal with a broad set of stakeholders
- Ability to partner closely with other BUs/functional teams to drive insights into the business
- Ability to work autonomously and drive the agenda on key areas of responsibilities.
- Ability to work with speed, and be able to synthesize and present complex findings under very tight deadlines

- Regional and client side experience (preferred)
- Experience in or passion for consumer technology is a plus
