The Role
The incumbent will be responsible for the transfer of Incoming and Outgoing calls for guests and administration staff and attend to guest requests and enquiries regarding telephone calls, Hotel services and facilities.
- Able to pick-up calls and handle situations quickly and accurately with quality customer service level
- Able to understand and handle guest’s requests tactfully and smoothly
- To be knowledgeable in basic information of the places of interests within and around the Hotel premises
- Must be absolutely familiar with room amenities, furniture layout and rate structure
- Ensures that guests receive the most cordial attention whenever they contact the Telephone Department
- To be knowledgeable on local places of interest, commercial centers, restaurants, conventions, cultural activities, airlines and other public transport schedules
- To work closely with all hotel staff to provide the guests with friendly, courteous and efficient personal services at all times.
- To be fully aware of the Emergency procedures
- Must be able to handle computer terminals at the telephone department and Front Office respectively
- Ensuring that there are adequate supplies of forms and stationeries
- Identifies training needs and conducts training or buddy system for new hires in the telephone department
- To assist with any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.

Talent Profile
- Should possess GCE ‘O’ or ‘N’ level and some supervisory skills.
- Relevant experience in Tele-Communication
- Knowledge of telephone etiquette
- High customer service focus
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- High levels of flexibility and adaptability
- Strong team playing skills
- Have a pleasant voice and is Guest centric
