**Regional Account Manager**
We're looking for a Regional Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The Regional Account Manager is responsible for overall account leadership, serving as the key regional point of contact and accountable for success metrics, account retention, strategic development, and management of all assigned account business. They are responsible for providing excellent client and employee support and exhibiting leadership in the areas of problem resolution, customer service, technology knowledge, and process/policy adherence.

**Your responsibilities**
- Implement procedures and monitor negotiated savings on total meeting spend to ensure client expectation of savings/cost avoidance is being met
- Recruitment, Training, Performance Management and Succession Planning of employees
- Directly accountable for account relationship, product delivery (operations), meeting client expectations, and BCD M&E account financial performance.
- Represent and Lead APAC region on all client global calls and internal BCD team calls
- Support global initiatives and evaluate regional impact before implementation
- Provide both strategic and tactical operational input that supports account development, retention, and growth
- Proactive optimization of client account and activity
- Work effectively and efficiently as a Liaison between client and internal support teams, ensuring consistency in service, delivery, follow-through, quality, commitment to timelines and provide high-level problem resolution
- Day-to-day management of the account.
- Conduct regularly scheduled client meetings and annual account review with clients
- Ensure ongoing survey evaluations are conducted, analyze data, and implement continuous improvement processes.
- Development of annual account business plans and support of Global Project Plan
- Continually evaluate, communicate, measure, and monitor client expectations and service level requirements. Accountable to adjust/modify appropriately where needed and ensure delivering against all client objectives
- Stay abreast and communicate industry trends, benchmarks, process improvements, strategic plans and BCD M&E products and services to customers
- Participates in formulating and administering policies, mutually develop with client short
- and long-range goals and objectives to meet business and growth objectives
- Conduct monthly and annual budgeting and forecasting reviews for assigned accounts; alert client of any anticipated account/program budget variances or other operational issues and solution resolution options.
- Report on program spend, savings and profitability monthly
- Lead local evaluation and consultation on technology solutions, specifically around Cvent

**We're looking for you if your profile matches the following**:

- Diploma or Degree in Event Management or equivalent
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in client management preferably within event planning industry
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing outside vendors, sourcing and negotiating contract services
- Minimum 5 years in supervisory or team lead experience
- CMP, PMP accreditation will be a plus
- Understanding of event management technology (Lanyon/Cvent) preferred
- Good analytical skills, general understanding of accounting, budget and profit and loss statements
- Strong customer service and organization skills
- Manage client relationships related to operational objectives
- Highly effective oral and written communication skills, including public speaking and client presentations.
- Ability to lead - setting direction, developing teamwork and collaboration, and achieving results through others.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to ever-changing scenarios
- Strong listening and evaluating skills
