**NUHS Wellbeing Office**
NUHS cares for its people and prioritizes their mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. It would like to ensure a safe, supportive, and vibrant culture in the workplace. To this end, the Wellbeing Office has been set up to create an efficient practice environment, cultivating personal resilience, and developing an organizational culture that fosters trust, peer support, professional fulfilment and employee wellbeing. The Office, reporting to the Chief Executive’s Office, is looking to hire a project manager.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Operational Management _
- Plan, implement and ensure completion of mental and physical wellbeing projects in line with the organization’s strategic initiatives.
- A key responsibility includes the utilization of research-based methods to collect annual qualitative and quantitative data linked to the mental wellbeing of healthcare staff.
- Develop methodologies to measure impact of the initiatives and programmes.
- Work closely with psychologists/ counsellors to collect and interpret counselling data to be used for strategic planning and decision making.
- Identify and understand staff requirements, source relevant trainings and/or professional development programmes that also align with corporate strategy devised to improve the holistic wellbeing of healthcare staff.
- Liaise and build professional relationships with other departments within the organization and external stakeholders with common goals.
- Monitor budgets and project resource management to ensure operational efficiency within the office.
- Implement process improvements to reduce development time.
- Communications _
- Maintain the Wellbeing Office intranet complete with a monthly “easy to read and apply” newsletter and other resources on topics related to physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
- Design informative and creative campaigns that include posters, regular bite-sized content, and info talks for on-site and social media communications to raise awareness on all aspects of wellbeing.
- Provide written reports and information/data in a timely manner to senior management and other stakeholders.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Biomedical Sciences or related fields.
- Postgraduate degree in Social, Health/ Life sciences is desirable.
- Experience with Social, Health/ Life sciences research is an advantage.
- Experience working with data collection, analysis, advanced level of Excel and Tableau proficiency.
- 6-8 years of project management experience with practical knowledge of designing and implementing projects in a timely manner, measuring outcomes/ impact, resource and vendor management.
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage different levels of stakeholders including senior management and external collaborators.
- Genuinely like people.
- Strong analytical, written and presentation skills.
- Experience and/ or interest in academic publishing.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions when required.
- Comfortable working in a multi-layered organization.
- Overall be a good team player, support and practice wellbeing ideologies in the workplace.
- Passion for improving wellbeing for all.
