Singapore STEELCASE OFFICE SOLUTIONS PTE LTD Full time

**We are seeking a service-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced product professional to join our Singapore team.
As a Director of Product Category, you will be the primary leader for all marketing and product management activities within a SCNA product category with responsibility for setting strategy for the category marketing and sales activities.

You will be in charge of:

- Direct marketing for both new product development and lifecycle management strategies for all products in a category, and oversees product culling, pricing and promotional decisions.
- Works with and/or manages other marketing functions’ activities and resources (marketing communications, marketing services, sales specialists) to ensure that overall category plans and budgets are in place, and as appropriate, ensures appropriate progress is made on tactics.
- Uses appropriate change management activities to ensure progress on strategies is made.
- Responsible for expense budgets and people management, and serves as a member of the category leadership team.
- Makes regular sales presentations to customers on what are typically the largest opportunities.

- Self-starter - committed to excellence: accuracy in work and attention to detail.
- Must have a broad exposure and understanding of corporate strategies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of product design and new product development process.
- Extensive managerial skills are necessary for coordination of large projects using a multi-disciplined team approach.
- Advanced Financial skills.

Education/Experience
- Bachelors in Marketing or Business required.
- Masters of Business, Marketing or other relevant masters degree preferred.
- Five to seven years experience in product management or marketing.
