The Senior Trading Support Engineer will be part of a highly talented team of support engineers responsible for ensuring high availability of Time Research’s mission critical services such Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Build & Deploy, Research and Trading.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide support to quantitative trading systems, such as system troubleshooting, risk checking, position keeping, PNL calculations, risk management, market data distribution, order matching, etc.
- Responsible for feature implementation, bug fixes, and performance tuning
- Monitor global trading activities, analyze and troubleshoot issues that may arise in the normal course of business in a timely and accurate manner
- Work collaboratively with researchers and developers, and be their first line of support for related queries
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline legacy processes to enhance productivity and controls
- Analyze post-trade data to evaluate the performance of trading strategies and algorithms in different stock markets, and proactively identify potential trading risks

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of L2/3 trading system support experience
- Proficient in Python scripting
- Comfortable with Linux (from support/ monitoring perspective)
- Excellent understanding of the fundamentals of modern software development
- Strong business judgment and ability to identify and escalate issues as appropriate
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

**Good to Have**
- Understanding of market data / order management systems
- Knowledge of execution algos, risk management systems in investment banks, hedge funds or prop trading firms
- Strong interest in financial markets
- Some experience at a centralized exchange
