**What the Internship Programme will look like**

Our 12-week internship programme enables you to develop valuable professional skills and learn what it's like to work in a high-impact professional services organization. Gain technical and practical business skills to help you succeed in the future and have opportunities to network with other team members, managers and leaders. You will also benefit from real-world experience through opportunities to work on projects as well as participate in client meetings.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**

We're looking for a diverse group of students with varying experiences, backgrounds and strengths to ensure we continue to offer the most innovative solutions to our clients. If you have a high level of commercial awareness, lots of ambition and an enthusiastic approach, we want to hear from you.

This programme is ideal for students who are in their penultimate year of university, but we also welcome first-year applicants.

**Reinsurance - Treaty**

The Internship is designed to provide interns with an insight into our business - a reinsurance intermediary - an understanding of our culture whilst being introduced to the critical skills necessary for future opportunities at Aon. During the Internship, interns will initially have classroom training, providing them with basic knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice of insurance and reinsurance. This is followed by a rotational programme across the various divisions within Aon Reinsurance Solutions viz., Analytics (both catastrophe modeling and Dynamic Financial Analysis), Broking, Broking Support and Client Services. Interns will also work on projects set by some of the divisions and country offices and also assist in conducting research for the preparation of reports, presentations and projects.

On completion of the Internship, an intern will have:

- A basic comprehension of the (Re)Insurance Industry
- An overview of the basics of Reinsurance
- An overview of how a Reinsurance Intermediary operation works
- An understanding of Analytic tools
- Executed a project successfully
