**Main KPIs**
1. Develop the Framework to include defining KPIs & drive the team for Sales, Marketing & Business Development.
2. Lead the department's financial budgeting process to acquire funds for the department's activities.
3. Define the approach for the overall sale of new business and account retention.
4. Establish customer relationship management (CRM) systems and guidelines to manage customer relationships.
**Description of Responsibilities**
1. Total addressable market demand scanning, opportunity growth & operational resource forecast, market research, risks analysis, customer acquisition through innovation and best industry practices.
2. Leading and mentoring existing or new members in driving sales opportunities by establishing best practices, career planning, value contribution, personal growth, and organizational succession planning.
3. Client analysis, organizational opportunity / demand studies. Strategic roles-based Relationship Sales Targeting.
4. Maximizing shareholder ROCE, accountability in budgeting sales finance targeting.
5. Ensuring precise analysis maximization of prices to client needs, competitive circumstances, opportunities costs and demand potential.
6. Mapping out client structure and impact and risks analysis. Answering and maximising “WIIFM” customer value propositions for each contact.
7. Responsible for Business Strategy and Steering Organization Direction towards alignment with overall organizational strategy.
8. Collaborate with members of the Marketing team to penetrate key markets.
9. Drive collaboration with internal stakeholders to develop plans for adapting existing portfolios to new business opportunities.
10. Drive new technologies to enhance business portfolio and optimise business processes.
11. Drive product research initiatives to understand future impacts on product offerings and production.
12. Foster relationships with new partners to achieve desired revenue.
13. Investigate factors impacting sales performance.
14. Promote positive relationships with major customers to understand their needs.
15. Provide advice when preparing bid documents and integrated proposals for key accounts.
16. Provide input on sales incentive structure and key performance indicators to help monitor targets.
17. Provide input to the Content Development team based on customer and industry feedback.
18. Review sales performance by analysing performance reports.
19. Recommend changes in pricing structures in product lines or products.
20. Responsible to Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control the business unit & department through individual KPIs.
**Requirements**:
- Successful previous experience as a sales manager/sales head, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
