The Global Partner Solutions team mission is to build and sell intelligent cloud and intelligent edge solutions with partners, empowering people and organizations to achieve more. GPS is a sales organization accountable for the commercial partner business at Microsoft. The Go-To-Market team mission is to develop the strategy and marketing approach for how we build, nurture, and engage the partner ecosystem to drive tech acceleration and customer outcomes.
The
**Partner Marketing Manager for**
**Surface** is key to Microsoft's Global Partner Solutions organization strategy. This role is responsible for leading the development & landing of the Partner eco-system and through partner Marketing strategy to meet the opportunity in market and drive sales outcome.

**Key responsibilities include**:
- **
Land **Partner Go-to-**market** : Develop Surface Partner Marketing strategy with Top partners to integrated with Surface Portfolio Marketing Strategy (aligned with Surface BG, Surface PDM and CMO) with impact on business performance. Collaborate across segments / business group to drive the Hybrid Workplace for commercial customers.
- ** Strategic Planning**: Subject matter expert (SME) on partner marketing plans and market opportunities and leads the management of planning activities against key scorecard metrics and goals. Identifies and engages in opening up short to mid-term growth opportunities/plans for Microsoft growth through partnerships to drive key performance indicator (KPI) accountability against internal goals. Influences at a worldwide and corporate level to help drive strategic action.
- ** Business **Operations**:Lead the management of partner marketing fund usage and influence stakeholders on best uses of investment landings and establishes return on investment (ROI) and related benchmarks to ensure performance goals are met aligned to compliance guidelines. Coaches and engages teams and partners on investment process (identify, executing, and scoping new/existing business opportunities to drive strategic impact). Establish sustainable & simplify marketing execution framework that are effective and aligned to execution compliance of products, processes, programs, and policies are followed across teams and functions.
- ** Partner **Experiences***:Designs, executes, and localizes end-to-end partner experiences (e.g., digital marketing, partner events, lead sharing, and demos) by leveraging marketing assets and through the assistance of other teams. Develops and mutually creates new partner capabilities and opportunities through partner experiences to help provide a competitive advantage and to land key product messages with partners.

- 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy and execution capacity with proven results
- Extensive experience of managing virtual teams across functions and geographies
- Marketing professional with proven experience in revenue-based marketing - from strategy planning to execution. Proven skills on modern marketing and integration with selling motions to scale outreach.
- Inclusive and collaborative - driving teamwork, cross-team alignment and ability to drive stakeholders accountability
- Articulate and clear communications to drive business clarity and represent markets to external and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate ability to influence partners and internal stakeholders to drive change.
- Appreciation of partner ecosystem and market insights including the competitor landscape and knowledge of partner business models
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking to connect digital and in-person marketing tactics using data
- Ability to succeed in a quickly changing business environment showing thought-leadership in driving market transformation
- Problem solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, conflict resolution, and follow through with partners
- Experience in hardware business - either in partner management and/or marketing capacity would be an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree required (Sales, Marketing, Business Operations); MBA desired
