Roles & Responsibilities

1. Role Description:
This position reports to the Manager daily and is responsible for leading classroom activities of infants and engaging with infants to foster a positive and healthy learning environment, conducting student assessments and providing reports and feedback on performance and behaviour to parents.

2. Specific Responsibilities:
1. Trainee will plan program in accordance with the policies, guidelines, frameworks and philosophy of the school and supervise the infants.

2. Trainee will be able to prepare and implement programs and age-appropriate teaching aids accordingly.

3. Trainee will keep accurate records of infant’s progress to better understand and be able address the infant's educational and developmental needs individually.

4. Trainee will be able to meet the parents to address any concerns of the infant whenever needed to ensure all parents are well aware of the concerns needed to be attend to.

5. Trainee will be able to stay clam and use positive discipline techniques at all times.

6. Trainee will be responsible for the upkeep of teaching resources, arrangement, appearance, decorations, and learning environment of the classroom.

3. Competencies:
1. Plan and supervise teaching program. Be creative and inspiring with loving energy while executing the lessons

2. Prepare and implement programs. Keep accurate records of every infants's progress in school

3. Understanding each and every infant. Effectively and actively supervise infants.
4. Excellent communications skills. Build rapport with parents

5. Positive attitude, Gain knowledge of basic first aid
6. Responsible for the upkeep of teaching resource. Excellent classroom management skills. Gain knowledge of all working documents and handbooks

4. Duration of Traineeships: 6 months

5. Approved Training Allowance: Fresh Graduates - $2,500, Non-mature Mid-career Individuals - $2,500, Mature Mid-Career Individuals - $2,500

6. Education Qualifications Required for the Traineeship Role Under SGUnited Traineeship:
This position is open for both recent graduates and mid-career individuals (mature and non-mature). Graduates interested in this position should possess a Degree and above Qualification. Mid-career individuals from any qualification level can apply.
