**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- The incumbent will support Sales in all customer enquiries and work on RFQs to provide competitive costing to secure new sales.
- Will be involved in cost negotiations, contract review and customer relationship management that will also include preparation of quotations and customer reports for assessment and selection
- Will take the Program lead in interfacing with the Customers on order fulfillment e.g. providing delivery order status, shipment schedules, production and quality reviews, technical updates and all other customer enquiries
- Co-ordinate with the internal operations teams - e.g. Materials/Purchasing, Engineering and Manufacturing - throughout the product life cycle from conceptualization phase to product design and review, prototyping, material selection, product and process qualification, resolving production sustaining issues before final shipment.
- Will also be responsible for contingency planning to pre-empt or address bottleneck or disruption issues (either potential or real) affecting order fulfillment including ramp / scalability readiness.
- Confirms project budgets and tracks all related expenditure throughout the product life-cycles. Will also be responsible to provide real-time project costing information, maintain product BOMs and co-ordinate with the engineering team on ECNs and related design prints
- Some of the KPIs will be derived from undertaking yield improvement programs, lowering material costs through alternate sourcing, volume purchases and design change, improving AR collections. KPIs will also be drawn from meeting/surpassing specific performance metrics or benchmarks established as part of Customer requirements.
- Liaise with customers on audits and visits including follow-up and closure of outstanding items

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- At least Diploma in an Engineering discipline
- Related program management experience in a factory automation environment.
- Project Management experience highly desirable
- Computer literate, and conversant in Project Management software tools
- Hands-on experience with problem-solving tools e.g. FMEA, 8D etc
