Program Management Role

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee our centre's programs and activities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating our programs to ensure they meet the needs of our clients.

  • Manage and coordinate centre programs and activities;
  • Develop and implement program plans and strategies;
  • Ensure timely execution and achievement of program objectives;
  • Monitor and evaluate program progress and outcomes;
  • Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to achieve program goals.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  1. Centre Engagement:
  • Engage with clients and community members to understand their needs and preferences;
  • Plan and implement outreach activities and public education efforts;
  • Conduct health assessments and provide support services as needed.
Volunteer Management:
  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support centre programs;
  • Coordinate volunteer activities and events;
  • Ensure volunteers are equipped to provide high-quality support services.
Program Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement program plans and strategies;
  • Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to achieve program goals;
  • Ensure timely execution and achievement of program objectives.
Program Management & Reporting:
  • Oversee program management and coordination;
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting on program progress and outcomes;
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field;
  • Proven experience in program management or a similar role;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and stakeholders;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with community engagement platforms.
