**Role Overview**:
The Channel Account Manager (CAM) will build and promote the company’s position as the worldwide leader in Unified Threat Management, specifically through the partner community within the assigned territory. Must be a key contributor to the revenue growth of the region and manage the company growth targets. Accountable for managing all reseller partnerships at Gold and Platinum levels within the guidelines of Fortinet’s partner programs within the geographic territory, spearheading new business development with assigned channel partners. This role will motivate, educate and train the partners in the Company’s products and technologies. The CAM is responsible for achieving sales, revenue and partner recruitment objectives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead vertical solution especially for SMB-Whitespace.
- Directly responsible in building up a strong relationship with the customer.
- Develop sales strategies for all opportunities and understand the buying cycle for the opportunities being pursued.
- Organise networking activities/events for building and strengthening relationships as well as expanding sales coverage advantage.
- Recruit, develop, and build revenue with value added systems integrators and global / large Manage Service Providers.
- Lead and guide Partners in developing Business Plans with clear Go-To-Market strategy, account penetration strategy and profitability targets. Track and drive joint sales activities with partner organisation and internal sales team.
- Setting expectations and sales goals with Partner Executives.
- Work with key stake holders within Fortinet in driving initiatives with channel partners for growth targets.
- Accountable for managing all resell partnerships within the guidelines of Fortinet’s channel programs, spearheading new business development and successfully developing alliances with key solution provider accounts.
- Motivate, educate and train the partners in the Company’s products and technologies.
- Manage Partners’ resource commitment in achieving Fortinet Partner Programs and qualifications.
**Requirements**:
- Fully qualified, experienced sales professional that is forward thinking and has an expert understanding of the technology business sector via Channel Partners.
- Prior experience includes successful recruitment of new partners, designing business plans and market strategies with partners.
- Excellent presentation skills required.
- Prior experience in network security. Knowledgeable in the following technologies VPN, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Intrusion Prevention, and Content Filtering is preferred but not necessary.
