
Business Development Representative

Upsight is looking for an energetic and proactive Business Development Representative to support our sales and partnership efforts across Upsight’s events, consulting, innovation programmes, and new ventures.
This is a junior to mid-level role ideal for someone who’s confident with outreach, enjoys connecting with people, and wants to grow their career in sales, partnerships, or ecosystem building. You’ll play a key role in generating leads, driving awareness, and supporting the commercial growth of our initiatives.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Identify, research and qualify leads across corporates, government and ecosystem partners
- Manage sponsorship and exhibition sales for events, including lead generation, outreach, and account servicing
- Support business development for consulting projects, innovation and ecosystem programmes, and new ventures
- Prepare and tailor proposals, outreach decks, and bid documentation
- Maintain CRM systems and track pipelines, leads, and follow-ups
- Represent Upsight at events and meetings to support BD activities
- Support programme and event execution, especially in engaging senior partners and stakeholders
- Work closely with the leadership team to develop and refine pitch strategies and sales materials
**Who Should Apply?**
- Bachelors Degree, Polytechnic Diploma, or equivalent qualification
- 2-5 years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or related roles
- Prior experience in events, accelerators, consultancies, or startups/scaleups is a plus
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Confident and proactive with cold outreach and new business engagement
- Organised and professional, with strong follow-through and time management
- Able to craft clear, persuasive written materials and learn quickly on the job
- Comfortable using CRM tools and juggling multiple prospects
- Self-motivated, targets-driven, and eager to grow within a dynamic startup environment
**Structure & Commitment**
- Full-time role based in Singapore (hybrid)
- Base salary + performance-based commission
- Immediate or mid-2025 start
- Opportunities for growth into a senior BD role
