**Job Purpose**:
To drive the development of the sea freight business of a specific trade by providing market leading pricing and space procurement, by distributing up-to-date market information and guidance for the sales force and clients, by acting as a communication bridge between carriers, agents and internal stakeholders and by solving operational issues and breaking down barriers to develop business.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Trade & Carrier Management:

- Execution of trade strategy in the areas of product and business development to achieve budgeted trade volumes & GP.
- Engage and cooperate with carrier allocation management in order provide information and guidance to ensure efficient and profitable utilization.
- Keeping abreast on market development and ensuring information is effectively communicated to all internal stakeholders.
- Maintaining a strong relationship with carriers in accordance to HWL policy.
- Support APAC countries on rates and carrier-related operational issues and support business execution.

2. Pricing & Rates Management:

- Negotiate, analyze and evaluate all sea freight offer from carriers.
- Pricing of tenders and rate enquiries, in accordance with strategic trade objectives and volume targets.
- Ensuring all negotiated rates are uploaded timely and accurately into HWL rate management system.
- Provide pricing direction and solution for trade lane development.
