As AI adoption increases, the challenge in the next decade is to harness AI safety with the _appropriate levels of governance and assurance to build trust in these advanced algorithmic systems._Most enterprises do not have the capability to do this, and we are looking to launch a new AI _assurance venture to enable companies to validate AI systems for accuracy, robustness,_explainability, fairness, privacy and security._
- We are looking for a People Ops Manager who can work with the management team to set up a new _strategic venture comprising a team of 5 to 30 in the next two years. This person will need to have _experience working for and with technologists to build high-performance, mission-driven teams. We_
- are looking for some who is seasoned and emotionally intelligent, and one who is excited about the _challenge of building People Ops in a zero-to-one environment. We are looking for a person who will _be able to set an exceedingly high bar for what great People Ops and company culture looks like._

**_ YOU WILL_**
- _Develop sound and sensible HR procedures, practices and employee handbooks that are _compatible with the phase of the company, corporate strategy, philosophy, and local _legislation, as well as compliance with local legislation_
- _Take charge of the full spectrum of HR Ops, including directing and coordinating HR activities _such as compensation & benefits, performance review, employee engagement and relations, _employee services and other HR-related matters_
- _Harness modern HR tools to drive automation and efficiencies, improve employee experience _and enable good practices (eg. peer reviews, pulse surveys)_
- _Set up and maintain competitive compensation plan and benefits program, identify business _hiring needs, build talent pipelines and manage recruitment process from end to end_
- _Help the management team build and sustain culture and change-related initiatives_
- _Work together with management to coach, solve conflicts and facilitate a positive working _environment_
- _Play a key role in culture building/ assimilation as well as employee engagement._

**_ YOU ARE ABLE TO_**
- _Be empathetic and offer advice/alternatives, as opposed to just providing answers_
- _Sound organisational ability, and ability to stay on top of things in an evolving environment_
- _Exercise discretion and authenticity in equal measure_
- _Familiarity with BambooHR is a plus, but not essential_
- _Good broad understanding of core HR disciplines, including performance management, _compensation and benefits, diversity and inclusion etc._
- _Communicate HR policy intent in writing clearly, with knowledge of when exceptions should _be applicable_
- _Work independently and be accountable for outcomes_
