As an Administrative & Accounts Executive at Deriv, you will ensure an organised and efficient work environment in our newly set up Singapore office. You will support the growth of the office by creating resourceful plans to streamline operations, managing office expenses and petty cash, verifying documentation, and supporting talent management efforts.
Your independent approach to tasks and proficiency in time management will be necessary for building a dynamic work setting.
**Your challenges**
- Develop innovative strategies to simplify our progressively complex processes.
- Establish an efficient working atmosphere that can support the expansion of the Singapore team.
- Serve as the primary support system for efficient office management and the Accounts team based in Singapore.
- Create and execute a system for handling office expenditures and petty cash.
- Validate paperwork like invoices and receipts, and systemise the scanning of office documents.
- Function as a liaison with external entities such as auditors, vendors, tax agents, and other Deriv Group branches.
**Requirements**:
- University degree in accounting, business administration, human resources, or a related field
- 2 years of work experience in a similar role
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and presentation skills
- Aptitude for quickly mastering new systems and procedures
- Ability to work proactively under pressure
- Ability to make sound judgement and good decisions
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
