Role Summary
Reporting to the Shipyard Project Manager, the HR Coordinator - Rig Transition will be responsible for providing HR function support to ensure smooth operations for rig transition and preservation teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with recruitment and/or manning agencies to up man for respective teams
- Manage logistics of personnel, including meet/greet, hotels and flights.
- Book and manage flights with the company travel provider (ATPI), ensuring the most cost-effective choice and routes are given for the reactivation.
- Maintain and update HR system ‘Workday’ and files for personnel in Singapore, ensuring always accurately kept up to date
- Manage and ensure compliance to local manpower law/requirements.
- Work closely with on location staff for work pass exemptions and or visas for personnel assigned.
- Work closely with recruitment and/or manning agencies to ensure appropriate work pass exemptions and or visas in place for personnel assigned.
- Track and ensure manpower cost or HR related costs do not exceed Reactivation budget or approved AFE.
- Ensure personnel compliance with Borr training as per Rig Transition Training Matrix.
- Arrange training including booking of courses for reactivation project crew where applicable.
- Monitor reactivation project crew stay in Country for immigration and tax purposes.
- Compliance with company Code of Conduct.
- Work with payroll team as needed to ensure payroll data is accurate
- Update and/or provide guidance to corporate of any changes to local law to ensure that all manuals, policies or procedures are revised as and when required.
- Liaise with relevant company for car leasing, apartment, transportation etc
- Manage office pantry, stationeries, telephony and peripheral.
- Main point of contact for matter related to project personnel (ie speaking to government agencies)
- Assist Rig Manager to prepare annual HR budgets.
- Monitor crew stay in country for immigration and tax purposes.
- Manage operations crew when in country and arrange for any necessary training.
- Work with rig HR coordinator for handover prior to rig departure.
- Work with shipping agent to prepare for rig departure.
- Manage and update border control measure caused by COVID restrictions.
- Understand in country COVID measure and implement necessary actions to minimize disruptions to operation
- Monitor and track swab test roster to ensure all personnel to yard are following stipulated requirements
- Any other tasks associated with the reactivation project where applicable
