Newly created individual contributor role with a value-added IT Distributor (AI & Cloud related Solutions)
The Channel Sales Manager (CSM) will be responsible for sales enablement of their assigned channels (resellers) and manage the sale activities of channels to achieve the sales targets.
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify, recruit & on-board channel partners (resellers) and build a strong reseller network
- Identify, develop, and grow all channels through pro-actively seeking out new opportunities to enhance sales volume
- Develop and manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify new business opportunities
- Analyze market trends and accordingly develop sales plans to increase brand awareness
- Stay current with latest developments in marketplace and competitor activities
- Develop positive and professional working relationship with partners to create and execute go-to-market (GTM) plan to meet sales goals
- Educate partners about product portfolio and complimentary services offered
- Communicate up-to-date information about new products and enhancements to partners and end users
- Deliver customer presentations and attend sales meetings and partner conferences
- Work with product and pre-sales teams on proposals and pitches
- Work with partners to develop sale proposals, quotations, and pricings
- Lead the sales process for any request for proposal (proposal, bidding, contract and PO) for new opportunities
- Define requirements of mature deals and opportunities to drive sales decision making process to closure
- Evaluate partner sales performance and recommend improvements
- Address partner related issues, sales conflicts and pricing issues in a timely manner
- Work with partners on marketing activities such as workshops, campaigns, tradeshows other promotional activities
**Requirements**:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in a similar role (Channel/Partner Sales; Business Development) in the **IT industry**:
- Strong business acumen in managing partners and end users strategically to meet sales targets
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Result oriented on sales targets
