This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and deep industry knowledge to ensure alignment between business objectives and market opportunities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement the company’s **commercial strategy**in alignment with corporate goals.
- Oversee **business development**, **sales**, **marketing**, and **commercial operations**to maximize market share and revenue.
- Lead the preparation and negotiation of **contracts**, **tenders**, and **commercial agreements**with clients, partners, and vendors.
- Drive **strategic partnerships**, alliances, and joint ventures to support business growth.
- Collaborate with the CEO and CFO on **pricing strategies**, **profitability analysis**, and **investment decisions**.
- Identify and evaluate new **market opportunities**, including entry into new regions or sectors.
- Oversee **customer relationship management**and ensure high standards of client satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor **market trends**, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform decision-making.
- Ensure all commercial activities comply with internal policies and **regulatory standards**.
- Lead and mentor the commercial team to build a high-performance culture.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum **15 years**of experience in commercial leadership roles, preferably within the **oil & gas**, **energy**, **marine**, or **engineering**sectors.
- Proven track record in **developing commercial strategies**and **delivering revenue growth**.
- Strong experience in **contract negotiation**, **tendering**, and **client relationship management**.
- Deep understanding of commercial and financial principles.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset.
- Willingness to travel regionally or internationally as required.
