**The Role**

As Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), you will be the right hand of the Group CEO. You will be responsible for driving our business performance, from identifying and developing new business opportunities to optimizing our service excellence, with P&L ownership. You will be the key counterpart for senior client stakeholders, and you will manage and coach a team of regional commercial leaders across SEA and support them in all aspects to advance our business. You will develop and implement processes to scale our operations while ensuring we enable our clients to reach their ecommerce potential.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Ensure service excellence and team performance
- Provide strategic guidance to clients and internal teams on how to grow their ecommerce sales in a sustainable way, with commercial strategies, operational improvements, marketing, go to market optimization, channel expansion etc.
- Grow revenue and profitability for Intrepid by winning new business, by offering new value adding services to clients, optimizing commercial terms with existing clients and optimizing existing operational processes and tech.
- Maintain close relationships with both brands and ecommerce platforms. Interact daily with partners to ensure timely and effective implementation of strategy.

**Who we look for - the ideal profile**:

- Degree from a recognized university, preferably with a Masters
- Strong proficiency in English; fluency in another SEA language or Mandarin is a bonus
- Minimum 10-15 years of relevant work experience in ecommerce, ideally with a platform (Lazada / Shopee) or with a leading international consumer brand or enabler. You have a strong network with key stakeholders across leading consumer brands and ecommerce platforms in SEA.
- Commercial experience - you understand brands requirements, challenges and drivers of performance. You leverage your expertise to advise brands on all ecommerce, marketing and data topics. Your strong interpersonal skills including presentation and listening skills allow you to build trust and lasting senior client relationships.
- You know how to reconcile top down targets and bottom-up forecasts. You are data driven and your excellent analytical skills are backed by proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Managerial experience
- you have years of experience in a leadership position. You have managed multi-departmental teams before.

- You have a result-oriented mindset and a track record driving impact in a fast-paced start-up environment. You take ownership. You are flexible and excel at cross-functional collaboration.
