**THE CHALLENGE**

Janio is looking a **Head of Commercial, SG **to join our rapidly expanding global team. We are looking for a seasoned and numbers driven leader to help us build and scale our commercial and partnership efforts, as well as play an active role in our strategic discussions. In this role, you will be required to design and implement core go-to-market initiatives that support our local growth, and take ownership of our product offerings.

At the helm of the Singapore Commercial function, you will need to be able to influence the company’s strategy and vision at both a country and regional level. You are expected to map out clear commercial milestones and provide structure and processes that drive efficiency and growth. This role expects you to assume country-level P&L responsibilities. In this capacity, you will oversee Singapore’s commercial strategy and initiative, and deep dive into complex business challenges.

You must be a hands’ on, roll up your sleeves type of leader who is able to operate well with little to no guidance, and should enjoy a fast-paced, high impact entrepreneurial startup environment. This position offers numerous opportunities for professional growth, and requires the individual to navigate unchartered grounds and build processes and teams from ground up.

**THE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Play a leading role in the strategic planning and execution of Janio Singapore’s commercial milestones consistently
- Enforce strong collaboration across multiple function (both locally and regionally) to effectively translate the company’s vision into actionable commercial strategies
- Take ownership of the product and be a strong interface between Janio and its key customers to align product and market fit
- Take ownership of Janio’s commercial health and represent our clients to all internal stakeholders, validating consumer needs on a regular basis
- Own the design and implementation of Janio’s most critical go-to-market processes and initiatives
- Actively develop and facility effective internal and external partnerships and communications to drive business growth
- Own the key accounts management functions and maintain a strong client-partner relationship with our clients to support their regional growth
- Drive revenue generation and inherit the sales pipeline, reporting, and analysis which supports overall target setting for the Asia region
- Assume P&L responsibilities for key markets under your charge

**THE REQUIREMENTS**
- Min. 10 years of working experience in a commercial strategy role and proven leadership track record in an ecommerce or logistics capacity. Related experience in management consulting, cross-border ecommerce is an added advantage
- Have a good understanding of the logistics sector across the B2C, B2B and Fulfilment space
- Strong track record and a good understanding of the import and export sector in SEA
- Proven leadership and execution in managing large teams, communicating expectations and execution under strict time pressure
- Strong business intuition: Experience breaking down complex business problems into key levers digestible next steps
- Ability to synthesize product and business vision into effective development roadmap
- Strong project management skills, with success owning complicated cross-functional programs and projects to timelines across common goals
- Ability to craft compelling presentation and able to relay information in a seamless manner
- Comfortable communicating in both English and Mandarin with strong interpersonal, networking and communication skills
- A strong work ethic and ability to navigate and thrive in fast-changing work environments
- Comfortable with ambiguity and consistently demonstrating a high proclivity for excellence
- Ability to positively influence stakeholders, both internal and external
