- Perform sales support function, e.g., handling customer enquiries, quotations, processing customers’ orders, generating CIPL, invoices, and arranging logistics etc.
- Report Sales / Enquiries and pipeline activity weekly.
- Liaise with corporate headquarter on parts availability and creating transfer orders.
- Follow up sales enquiries and attend to after-sales support requests from customers ensuring customers’ expectations are met e.g., material certificates, delivery issues, shortages etc.
- Update all relevant data in Syteline to allow statistical data to be accurately tracked.
- Produce statistical data and improvement plans where required and report at weekly management meetings.
- Deal with Rental and Refurb contracts in conjunction with Sales Engineer & Country Manager.
- Manage monthly rental asset movement and ensure accurate data are tracked and process invoices.
- Establish active communication and engagement with sales representatives to ensure that orders are processed promptly.
- Handle import and export shipping requirement and arrangements.
- Monitor and organize inventory while effectively tracking new services and products for sale.
- Maintain accurate inventory record and coordinate with inventory planning.
- Coordinate delivery schedule and ensure timely delivery of goods to customer achieving >95% OTD.
- Employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time.
**BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE**:This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in order processing in inside sales. Should have a basic understanding of the commercial side of the business and understanding customers' requirement. Needs sound commercial judgment, analytical skills, and communication skills, along with a basic understanding of the product line and end customers. Incumbents begin exhibiting ability to work independently and to communicate effectively with Caterpillar personnel and customers.
