We are currently looking for Head of HR, Singapore & SEA, reporting to the Head of HR, Asia who is based in Japan. Managing a team of 5, the Head of HR will be accountable for delivering our HR strategy to attract and recruit the best talent, create an inclusive working experience, grow careers through continuous development and ensure right recognition and reward for our employees. This role will be based in Singapore, and has oversight over the offices in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

Your job
- Develop and manage a best in class HR function and team, enabling the delivery of comprehensive HR services and advice to the business, working in close collaboration as part of the Singapore senior management and Regional HR APAC & MEA team
- Partner with senior leaders to advance the culture agenda for Regional Centre Singapore
- Identify key leadership challenges through feedback, assessment and analysis
- Drive a high-performance culture and lead HR change management processes and innovation initiatives, in line with current and future business requirements
- Partner with the business to actively drive the Inclusion & Diversity strategy and initiatives to create an attractive and inclusive work experience for all employees to progress within Munich Re, by supporting them through the various stages of their professional career and personal lives.
- Engage with senior management on Talent Management reviews with a particular focus on talent identification, accelerated development, diversity of talent and succession planning
- Steer Learning and Development in line with the APAC MEA Development Framework consisting of tools and initiatives to strengthen our efforts to grow careers through continuous development
- Advise and guide the HR team, managers and employees on the full range of employee relations topics and people related risks as well as implementation of solutions
- Ongoing review, development, implementation and communication of future focused policies & procedures whilst continuing to reduce complexity & build excellence
- Participate and contribute to the APAC MEA HR strategy & initiatives and being involved in regional/global initiatives as part of the extended regional HR Team
- Active participation in local, regional and global HR community forums and networks

**Profile**:

- Relevant Bachelor’s degree (e.g. Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology)
- Multiple years' of experience in managing and leading a HR function with strong HR generalist experience preferred
- Comprehensive experience in developing and maintaining robust and business focused relationships with key stakeholders, as well as experience working in a matrix organisation structure
- Solid knowledge and understanding across all HR core functions
- Strong communicator with influential skills and passion to drive changes
- Ability to lead on HR legal and regulatory topics
- Change agent approach with focus on business value creation, pragmatic, persistent, determined, dynamic thinking and perform under pressure to deliver within short deadlines
