The company has been building up its presence in Singapore to complement its existing businesses in Greater China and serve a wider range of customers and offer new business and financial products to meet evolving investors’ needs in the Greater China and Southeast Asia region.
**About the role**:
The primary responsibility of the role is to cover global institutional clients trading China’s onshore Equities
- Source new institutional clients for trading Equities through the Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor (QFII) qualification and/or China Stock Connect (Northbound)
- Maintain and develop business relationship with institutional clients in Singapore
- Pitching trading ideas
- Produce and execute marketing and sales plan targeting the growth of institutional clients base
- Organize and participate in roadshows, corporate meetings and other investor events in Singapore
**Requirements**:
- Thorough understanding of China’s onshore products and market microstructure
- Excellent client management skills and an ability to execute from sales pitching to client onboarding
- At least 5 years of institutional clients sales experience
- Bachelor degree or above with a major in Business and Finance
- Team player, self-motivated, with strong communication and interpersonal skills - Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
