**ROLE SUMMARY**:
Reporting directly to the Regional President, this role combines operational management with strategic foresight to drive regional success. The position is pivotal in supporting the Regional President and APACA Leadership Team, ensuring transparent communication, operational excellence across the region, and coordinating operational matters, strategic initiatives and larger projects to enable supply chain efficiency, revenue growth targets, and success of strategic initiatives. The role is also tasked with spearheading innovation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and foster data-driven decision-making. A key component of this role involves navigating the balance between global strategic priorities and regional market needs, ensuring seamless alignment and execution across diverse geographies while identifying unique opportunities to drive growth in the region,

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Operations Management**:

- Coordinate and manage leadership team meetings, incl. agenda setting, town halls, and other key forums, ensuring alignment across markets, COE teams, and global functions, coordination of follow up discussions and execution activities as necessary.
- Plan and execute ZET/ Regional market visits to enhance regional understanding and support.
- Coordinate and lead Operating Plan process for the region; support creating overall presentations to Sr. Leadership.
- Facilitate R&D project prioritization with clusters and GCD, supporting annual business priorities.
- Serve as liaison between regional leadership team and market leaders, global commercial operations and GMS team and enable open dialogue, information flow and foster transparent and constant communication.
- Support product allocation, supply review (including short supply), and production location decisions are transparent, involving input from GMS, Market leaders, GMS and regional commercial leadership.
- Address and resolve supply chain issues to ensure operational efficiency: In conjunction with Global Commercial and Global Manufacturing and Supply (“GMS”) leaders, represent the region at monthly supply review meetings, and facilitate coordination between various functions and markets, escalate region
- and country-specific supply issues.
- Provides information to support the decision-making process with respect to new product introductions and launches, SKU rationalization, identification of growth markets, and review of distribution models in certain markets.

**Strategic Project Leadership**:

- Lead the execution of key projects and strategic initiatives cross functionally, aligning with global and regional priorities.
- Ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Identifies potential risks and develops mitigations strategies to ensure success.
- Act as the lead for cross-functional projects to achieve business objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities and present actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Ensure alignment with the company’s long-term vision by collaborating with global strategy teams.

**Leadership & Collaboration**:

- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Regional President, offering insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with other regional and market leads to align regional strategies and share best practices.
- Foster collaboration across diverse teams and markets to achieve shared goals.
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA or equivalent advanced education is a plus.
- 8+ years of proven leadership experience, ideally as commercial leader, Business Unit Lead or similar commercial role, with strong business acumen.
- Excellent knowledge of commercial operations and supply and demand
- Extensive experience managing large-scale projects, and large-scale organizational change initiatives with measurable impact across culturally diverse regions with sensitivity to regional nuances.
- Expertise in financial management, including P&L and operating budget oversight. Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical, animal health, or related industries.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through transformation, fostering innovation in operations, products, or market strategies, instilling a culture of performance.
- Track record of operational excellence and identifying new business opportunities.
- Experience engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, including commercial and enabling functions.
