**Job Summary**:
Teach, train, and mentor IDEXX veterinary diagnostic sales consultants by demonstrating how to effectively communicate IDEXX’s value to customers. Design, conduct, and deliver technical, product, and soft skill trainings. Partners with regional sales managers and leadership teams to align and achieve commercial goals.
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Develop, design, and customize curriculums and learning solutions meeting different learning styles, incorporate adult learning theory and have stated measurable objectives
- Conduct in-depth assessments of consultative sales team performance
- Observes sales encounters and collects feedback, results, and performance data of trainees after sessions; identify opportunities for team member professional growth and development
- Works closely with Sales Managers to identify performance gaps, provide recommendations, and execute training strategies
- Build and sustain relationships using the interpersonal skills and communication methods to build constructive relationships with sales consultants, business units, and other stakeholders to meet shared goals and objectives
- Facilitates and structures training plans to meet commercial objectives
- Understand and teach consultative selling methods and techniques
- Prepares new sales representatives by conducting orientation to consultative sales process, develops individual coaching plans, provides resources and assistance, and schedules orientation drive-alongs with senior representatives.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications
- Design workshops, presentations, training courses and e-learning to present training curriculum
- Implement creative solutions that are aligned with IDEXX values, principles, and learning philosophy
**Required Skills and Abilities**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- 5+ years experience in related field. Background in sales, education, or veterinary medicine preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively influence others without direct supervision
- Enthusiasm for learning, situation adaptability, values personal differences, and is a collaborative business partner
- Action-oriented, strategic mindset, and passion for team excellence
- A confident, natural leader and problem solver with demonstrated critical thinking and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of markets in which IDEXX operates and extensive knowledge of IDEXX’s range of products and services preferred
- Strong business acumen and medical understanding
- Outstanding coaching and teaching skills
- Learned proficiency in CRM software
- Fluent Tagalog and working proficiency of English
- Travel up to 50%
