The role has a primary reporting line to the Director of NEWRIEdu.
- Recruit the best students to join our graduate programme
- Perform the necessary administrative works, starting from the time the students show their interest until they graduate.
- Maintain good relationships with the existing students, as well as with the graduates/alumni
- Provide regular updates to NEWRI management on the publication and student matters
- Support the Outreach team as and when required

**Key Responsibilities**

1. **Student Recruitment**
- Recruit the best students to join our graduate programme

Activities:

- Build good relationship with the alumni, the faculty members in NTU and beyond
- Propose attractive venues to attract prospective students and work with the Outreach team to come up with attractive flyers/brochures/EDM and organise recruitment drives

2. **Student Administration**
- Perform the necessary administrative works, starting from the time the students show their interest until they graduate
- Provide admin support to visiting students from overseas, students on internship, FYP students

Activities:

- Build good working relationship with IGP, OA, OGEM and other schools/departments in NTU and beyond
- Respond to queries raised by prospective/interested students
- Assist students during their course registration, Qualifying Exam, thesis submission

3. **People Strategy**
- Maintain good relationships with the existing students, as well as with the graduates/alumni

Activities:

- Provide clear and timely response to queries raised by students
- Organise briefings/ provide info for new students and those going for Qualifying Exam
- Provide advice to students who face difficulties in their study or in their relationship with their Thesis Advisory Committee
- Keep in touch with the graduates/alumni as and when required

4. **Others**
- Provide regular updates to NEWRI management on the publication and student matters
- Support the Outreach team as and when required

Activities:

- Obtain updates on NEWRI publications, which includes managing the SOP, the tracking, collation of data and KPI follow up
- Maintain good relationship with the Outreach team

**Requirements**:

- University degree in any discipline
- Several years of working experience, preferably in the research or education sector
- Familiar with data analysis
- Have experience in planning and organising events
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of people
- Passion and patience in dealing with students
- Ability to work both as a team, or individually
