Global & Strategic Account Managers (GSAMs) play a key role within Emarsys’ sales organization, developing and maintaining Emarsys’ relationships and sales plans with our largest and most important global customers, ensuring ongoing client success is matched with increasing Emarsys revenues. With a strong background in Enterprise and ‘C-Level’ selling, GSAMs will develop trusted relationships with the Marketing and Business leaders of prospect and existing client organisations, understanding their business opportunities and challenges whilst positioning Emarsys’ capabilities as viable solutions. Working closely with leadership and representing the ‘voice of the customer’ within Emarsys, GSAMs will be responsible for managing diverse internal stakeholders to ensure client success and development.

**YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Exceed quota in both new business sales and existing account growth on an annual basis from a named list of customers.
- Leads ‘strategic prospect’ new business sales processes from identification of opportunity to win. Provides ongoing sales leadership and co-ordination for existing ‘strategic customers.’ Provides coordination for strategic customers and prospects with international operations acting as the ‘Global Account Manager’’
- Develops Emarsys’ relationships with the top-table executives within a named list of Emarsys’ most valuable and important customers & prospects.
- Leverages these relationships to create and accelerate actionable sales opportunity, positioning Emarsys as the long term ‘partner of choice’ to facilitate the clients strategic marketing requirements and immediate marketing needs
- Develops and maintains an analysis of the risk and opportunity for each customer & prospect, understanding the industry changes and the market trends that will impact on the customer’s future business, creating a strategic plan and ‘vision’ that will position the customer for future success.
- Identifies and articulates Emarsys’ ongoing role in delivering this ‘vision’ and value contribution
- Establishes and manages a virtual team ‘Roster’ for each customer or prospect, ensuring that the right talent is in place to ensure Emarsys can successfully influence and engage with customer or prospect organization
- In partnership with the customer or prospect, translates the ‘vision’ into a ‘sales plan’, supporting and accelerating the closing of MRR opportunity through Emarsys Sales and Success organisations.
- Supports the development of sales roll-out plan, engaging Solution Consulting, Implementation Consulting leadership and Strategic Services where necessary.
- Ongoing analysis and publication of Emarsys value contribution to customer business.

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Fluent in English
- Considerable experience in senior level ‘technology for marketing’ sales - comfortable developing sales strategies and account plans for large complex organisations
- Demonstrates a high-level understanding of the marketing challenges facing retail organisations
- Demonstrates the ability to lead ‘consulting led’ sales engagements, especially in the retail vertical
- Experience of collaborative selling - ability to create consensus across internal teams
- Extensive experience in RFP and Tender response leadership
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a proven ability to create consensus
