To drive the Group HSQE/Training department strategies on two fronts:

- Drive Operational Excellence initiatives and continuous improvements to systems and processes for the corporate office and as well as regional business units; and
- Develop training content to meet the blended learning environment of the Company’s training framework and analyse feedback and statistical trends to improve the framework.

HSQE matters:

- Implement HSQE programs within the corporate office and monitor their status, providing reports at periodic intervals
- Maintain the Company’s HSQE related statistics, conducting trend analysis and providing reports at periodic intervals
- Maintain the Company’s greenhouse gas inventory
- Conduct compliance checks with the Company’s Integrated Management System via document and on-site verification
- Facilitate internal and external audits and management review
- Maintain and revise the Company’s Integrated Management System periodically
- Review processes with the objective of moving towards digitalization and automation of processes

Training matters:

- Development of training content packages appropriate to the mode of delivery, such as via e-learning courses, physical workshops, or on-the-job training and assessment record books
- Monitor the day-to-day activities on the learning management system, ensuring employees complete their assigned training within the stipulated time frame by liaising with the appropriate department heads
- Analyse training feedback, statistics, and records from the learning management system to identify areas of improvement to generate periodic reports and recommendations
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and industry best practices

Ad-hoc matters:

- Perform any ad-hoc HSQE/Training projects or tasks delegated by the Group HSQE/Training Manager

**Requirements**:

- Degree holder preferably with health, safety, and environment background or engineering relevant
- Minimum 3 years of health, safety, and environment management system experience in a marine industry
- Knowledge of international and maritime standards preferred i.e. ISO, ISM, ISPS etc.
- Experience in drafting policies and procedures aligning with the standards
- Advantageous to hold industry relevant certificates, e.g. ISO 9001/14001/45001 Internal Auditor, Train the Trainer or ACTA/ACLP
- Familiar with the use of audio, graphic, and video manipulation software to create training content on Learning Management System
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
