With a strong global presence and an ambitious growth agenda, the Group is at an inflection point of strategic expansion, investments, and portfolio optimization. To support this next phase, the company is seeking a highly experienced Finance Business Partner to the Group CEO, a trusted advisor who will guide the Group CEO on all strategic financial matters, including M&A, capital allocation, and long-term value creation.
Position Overview
Sitting in the CEO’s office and reporting directly to the Group CEO, this is a critical senior leadership role that will influence the strategic direction of the Group. You will act as a thought partner to the CEO on investment decisions, portfolio optimization, capital raising, and inorganic growth opportunities, ensuring financial rigor and discipline underpin every key decision.
Beyond transactional finance, this role will provide deep strategic insight, shaping the Group’s long-term financial roadmap, evaluating M&A opportunities, and driving shareholder value creation in alignment with the company’s global ambitions. You will act as a bridge between the CEO’s office, the Board, and business unit leaders, bringing financial clarity, foresight, and actionable insights into decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
As Finance Business Partner to the CEO, your remit will include:
Advising the Group CEO on all strategic finance matters, including investments, M&A, capital structure, and portfolio optimization.
Leading the evaluation, negotiation, and execution of investment and M&A opportunities, ensuring alignment with the Group’s long-term strategy.
Providing financial and commercial insights to support strategic initiatives, market expansion, and capital deployment.
Partnering with business leaders across multiple verticals to assess performance, risks, and opportunities, and ensure alignment with shareholder expectations.
Acting as a key liaison with investors, analysts, and external stakeholders in collaboration with the Investor Relations and Corporate Finance teams.
Bringing best-in-class financial governance, foresight, and scenario planning to the CEO’s office, ensuring the Group is positioned for sustainable growth.
The Successful Applicant
You will be a seasoned finance leader with the gravitas and experience to advise at the highest level of a listed company. Specifically, you will bring:
At least 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, with a strong track record as a CFO in a listed company environment.
Deep experience in strategic finance, including M&A execution, capital raising, portfolio management, and cross-border transactions.
Proven ability to partner directly with CEOs, Boards, and senior leadership teams, providing strategic guidance and financial clarity.
Strong commercial acumen, analytical rigor, and the ability to distil complex financial scenarios into actionable insights.
Prior exposure to US-listed reporting and regulatory environments will be a significant advantage.
A collaborative yet influential leadership style, with the confidence and presence to operate at the highest levels of corporate decision-making.
