**[What the role is]**

You will handle a diverse range of environmental public health functions, including vector control, sanitation and public feedback management for the central regions of Singapore.

**[What you will be working on]**

You will lead and guide a team of officers to keep the vector population low, to minimise the transmission of vector borne diseases such as dengue, chikungunya, malaria, and diseases associated with rodents, flies and cockroaches and to put a quick closure to such disease outbreaks.

You will be responsible for the following:

- Identify and prioritise areas for vector control surveillance.
- Deployment of vector control officers/workers and outsourced pest control operators to carry out vector control work.
- Liaise with various stakeholders (e.g. TC, HDB, NParks) on vector control matters.
- Prepare and serve Orders to owners/occupiers of high-risk premises, including Stop Work Orders for poorly maintained construction sites.
- Monitor gravitrap findings and plan vector control operations.
- Follow up on enforcement action against owners/occupiers of premises for vector offences.
- Prepare cluster reports.
- Prepare reports for MP feedback, media feedback and appeals.

- Able to work on weekends and after office hours
- Able to conduct routine inspections and perform enforcement duties indoors and outdoors
- Aptitude in working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time
