As Director, **Strategic Business Consultant,** you will be responsible for your assigned territory, you will collaborate with both regional and global team and drive business transformation to impact our customers’ business outcomes as part of our Genesys’ Go To Customer team including:
- **Influence - **Nurture relationships with C-Level
- and senior stakeholders to influence strategic decisions
- **Growth - **Establish Experience as Service as a practice to drive innovation and business growth
- **Leadership - **Drive thought leadership with customer
- and market facing presence
- **Collaboration - **Capture and publish outcomes to the global team and the OneGenesys community
- **Operations - **Localize the SBC operations and support execution of our team aligning with our sales leader
The successful Director, Strategic Business Consulting will naturally become a trusted advisor for both our customers and our sales teams, executing our value orchestration practice locally, elevating our business conversations and expanding our Go To Customer approach.
**Strategic Business Consulting Team Overview**
We are a GLOBAL diverse group of thought leaders, strategic thinkers, and industry experts from across the globe with vast knowledge on Customer and Employee Experience, Cloud, Business Operations, Insights and Analytics.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Orchestration -** Lead customer consulting engagements and orchestrate value for success
- **Coordination -** Interlock with our Go To Customer functions to engage with customers effectively
- **Performance** - Build pipeline and drive new bookings while orchestrating value for customer success
- **Communication** - Keep our stakeholders and team members informed about SBC team progress
- **Prioritization** - Coordinate efforts with our local teams and focus our business on qualified accounts
- **Collaboration** - Contribute proactively with our global SBC and Industry team
- **Expand** - Leverage strategic alliances & partners to expand stakeholder influence and addressable market
- **Thought Leader **- Inspire our local market with purpose and be recognized as a business influencer
- **Scalability **- Industrialize best practices, industry trends, benchmarks and value assets to scale our practice
- **Brand ambassador** - Be influential in marketing events to gain industry recognition while driving awareness.
Required Qualifications We are looking for an inspirational, motivated, independent, and confident personality with a can-do attitude & strong sense of ownership over engagements. Willingness to do the heavy lifting to get to a better result more quickly. Be an enthusiastic collaborator. Out of the box personality to structure the unstructured.
- **Studies**: Bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree in business administration is a plus
- **Business Experience** - An exceptionally qualified business consultant who has 10+ years' experience in business transformation as part of a global matrixed organization. Demonstrated expertise in and contribution to customer
- and or employee experience engagements
- **Solutioning**:
- Experience creating “art of the possible” outcomes across a diverse set of technology platforms. Customer / service design driven. Familiarity with emerging technologies and/or Genesys solutions strongly preferred. Ability to structure, unstructured problems.
- **Recognition**:
- Recognized brand and/or Industry relationships. Participation in relevant associations is a strong positive
- **Performance** - Proven success in driving strategy, execution, data-driven decision making, governance, financial analysis, including change management and leading diverse strategic programs
- **Collaboration & coordination** - Broad business acumen that connects the dots for the customer and Genesys. Ability to execute plans across internal and external stakeholder groups
- **Adaptability** - Ability to navigate fast-paced environment and to manage through ambiguous scenarios as needed
- **Customer focus** - Experience building and retaining strong customer relationships, with proven CxO engagement skills
- **Communication**:
- Executive presence demonstrated by excellent and energetic public speaking skills across scenarios (e.g., customer 1-on-1, 1-to-Many Events, executive briefings, etc.). Excellent oral and written communications skills (Fluent/Native Japanese and Business level English is mandatory)
- **Technology **- Knowledge on some of the following areas: technology strategy and roadmap, operating model design, service design thinking, technology value realization, journey analytics, process automation, artificial intelligence
- **Environment** - Ability to work effectively in a remote, virtual and global environment
- **Travel** - Ability to travel for business priorities, estimated 30% (mainly domestic)
