Plating Process Engineer

**Job Scope**:
Process Design & Optimization
- Establish, implement, and refine efficient wafer plating workflows aligned with production goals and quality standards

Technical Documentation
- Develop and maintain comprehensive SOPs, work instructions, and control plans for all plating operations
- Ensure all documentation supports audit-readiness and team training initiatives

Data-Driven Process Enhancement
- Collect, analyze, and interpret plating process data to drive data-backed decision-making
- Utilize and improve process simulation tools to model, test, and refine plating parameters

Continuous Improvement
- Lead initiatives to enhance plating quality, reduce cycle time, improve yield, and minimize energy consumption
- Support Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives as needed

Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis
- Investigate plating-related production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions
- Work cross-functionally with production, quality, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime

Cost Optimization
- Identify opportunities to reduce consumable usage, improve equipment uptime, and minimize process waste
- Propose solutions that reduce cost per wafer while maintaining performance standards

**Job requirement**:

- Possess at least a degree in Chemistry or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and ISO 14001 practices, is an advantage.
