Hard Chrome Plating Technician

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Hard Chrome Plating Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing hard chrome plating operations on marine diesel engine components.

About the Role
  • Perform hard chrome plating operations on marine diesel engine components, including piston ring grooves.
  • Restore worn-out or damaged grooves to OEM specifications using precision machining and plating techniques.
  • Operate and maintain chrome plating tanks, anodes, and related chemical processes in compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Inspect components for cracks, corrosion, or dimensional deviation before and after plating.
Requirements
  • Proven 3-5 years of experience in hard chrome plating.
  • Strong knowledge of electroplating principles, chemicals, and safety standards.
  • Familiarity with marine diesel engine components and their functions.
  • Ability to operate precision tools and measuring instruments.
