Technical Quality Assurance Lead

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Quality & Task Management**:

- Develop and execute quality improvement plans aligned with company goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in root cause analysis and problem resolution
- Implement corrective/preventive actions and monitor product quality metrics
- Conduct audits, manage risks, and ensure compliance with classification rules
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and shipyards for consistent quality
- Analyse warranty data to drive product enhancement and reduce defects
- Deliver reports, customer familiarization sessions, and conduct site visits as needed
- Maintain quality standards while controlling costs within budget

**Stakeholder & Interpersonal Management**:

- Foster strong relationships across engineering, operations, suppliers, and regulatory bodies
- Communicate effectively at all levels; provide feedback and negotiate when necessary
- Build trust and rapport with internal and external partners
- Represent the company in supplier negotiations and industry discussions

**Information & Documentation Management**:

- Manage technical documentation related to quality improvements and warranty feedback
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vessel specs, regulations, and performance data
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of quality actions and warranty claims

**Personal & Professional Development**:

- Take ownership of objectives and professional growth
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and competitor strategies
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous improvement and safety

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 10 years in marine vessel construction, operations, or maintenance, with leadership experience
- Marine or engineering qualifications preferred
- Strong skills in negotiation, dispute resolution, and commercial decision-making
- Proven ability in quality management, documentation, and stakeholder engagement
- Extensive network within the maritime industry is a plus
- Driven, accountable, and a team-oriented mindset
