Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

The role of a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist is crucial in ensuring the highest standards of quality and hygiene are maintained throughout our food manufacturing facilities. This position requires a highly motivated individual to lead the way in implementing quality control measures, maintaining personal hygiene among process workers, and ensuring all processing facilities are clean and well-maintained.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of product and hygiene inspections, including health certificates and laboratory reports.
  • Collaborate with production leaders and operators to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives in the production area.
  • Ensure the implementation and maintenance of relevant certifications, such as SFA, MSC/ASC, Halal, FSSC 22000, and HACCP.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies on food safety and licensing matters when required.

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum Diploma in Food Science or Microbiology.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience as a Quality Control Specialist in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Understanding of FSSC 22000/HACCP/GMP/Halal requirements is an added advantage.
