DevOps and Quality Assurance

We are looking for an experienced DevOps & Quality Assurance Section Lead to join our Technology Architecture & Policy team to participate together with operations and development in the entire development lifecycle, from design through the development process to productions support.

This incumbent will be responsible to establish strategy for Digital Quality Assurance and manage the deliverables of the Quality Assurance team. The role will be responsible for providing technical guidance on the planning, implementation, and efficiency improvement of all QA activities.

**What You'll Do**:

- You will establish strategy for DevOps & Digital Quality Assurance.
- You will develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate QA methodologies and standards for supporting continual improvement of QA processes.
- You will create common business specific quality measurement frameworks and track improvement against these metrics.
- You will consult on the improvement of test efficiency and reduction of test cycle time through standardized test cases, test data, automation, and code/test coverage analysis.
- You will support day-to-day operations by providing guidance to the test team on how to design and implement testing tasks necessary to meet the project deliverables.
- You will create metrics / reports to capture test progress for projects and releases
- You will manage, coach and mentor team, set performance targets and evaluate delivery against targets.
- You will enforce/ ensure corporate and department standards, policies, and guidelines within the team.
- You will track QA performance and report of quality related outcomes and activities to the Senior Manager of Digital Governance and Quality Assurance team.
- You will work with DevOps team to establish strategies for DevOps and align with Digital Quality Assurance strategies.
- You will develop test strategies for DevOps and facilitate automated testing throughout the test lifecycle, embed risk-based testing, and reuse of test scripts.

**Who You Are**
- You have a Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related IT discipline.
- You should have 8+ years digital quality assurance experience.
- You should have strong knowledge of commonly used concepts and tools related to software testing, and quality standards and procedures.
- You should have experience as a QA Lead on large scale projects, similar to that of Singapore Pools.
- You should have strong initiative, consensus-building, and ability to collaborate directly and build strong relationships with variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- You should be certified Manager of Software Quality (CMSQ), Certified Software Quality Analyst: (CSQA), Certified Software Testing Professional (CSTP)
- You should have experience in SDLC methodologies such as Agile & waterfall and process management.
- You should have strong Test Analyst skills including writing high-quality test specifications (plans, cases, script, and data) on accurate business requirement analysis.
- You should have experience in troubleshooting test environments, diagnosing and resolving issues prior to format execution.
- You should have certification in software Quality Assurance & Cloud (AWS preferred) is a plus.
- You should perform root cause analysis of issues to assist in determining the source of problems.
- You should have experience with test automation tools such as Silk Test, Selenium, Tricentis is a plus.
- You should have experience in using tools like JIRA and Confluence to report, categorise and track issues.
- You should be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written mediums with internal and external stakeholders.
- You should be able to work independently as a strong self-starter, as well as collaborate with other teams.

Pay: Up to $15,000.00 per month
