Job Description:
This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist. As a key member of our software development lifecycle, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of processes in collaboration with the software team.
You will provide inputs for Design for Excellence (DFX) to enhance product quality and ensure adherence to established Quality Management System (QMS) requirements throughout software projects.
Your responsibilities will include developing and executing software quality audit plans and schedules, conducting timely software audits, and communicating detailed findings.
Additionally, you will establish and automate data collection mechanisms, collate and monitor metrics using tools such as Azure DevOps, Power BI, Power Automate, and Smartsheets.
You will investigate all defects identified in the development process and audits, and resolve them with appropriate corrective actions.
As a member of cross-functional teams, you will analyze critical internal or customer-reported defects, perform statistical analysis, and implement preventive measures.
You will drive process improvement initiatives within the software organization.
Requirements:
We are seeking a highly skilled individual with a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline, and 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Management, preferably in Electrical & Electronics manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of software development fundamentals and industry best practices is essential.
Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, C#, .NET, Object-Oriented Programming, and SQL scripting is required.
Experience with Agile Scrum and other software development process models is also necessary.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Azure DevOps, Office 365 Power Automate, Smartsheets, SharePoint, data analytics and visualization tools, including Power BI Desktop & Dashboard, Azure IoT Hub, Stream Analytics, and PostgreSQL databases is preferred.
