
Compliance Specialist, Intercontinental

Working with zone and country compliance leaders, other stakeholders in Legal, Compliance, Controllership, Operations, Channel Management, HR and other areas. Compliance Specialist will also be responsible for providing assistance to Region Compliance head in managing agenda and supporting compliance operations and activities.
You will also be required to co-ordinate with a) global standards and policies team for implementation and maintenance of Indirect Channel Compliance and Improper Payments Prevention and AST Compliance policies and processes and b) Internal Audits, Monitoring, Transaction Compliance (IMT) team to support audits and dashboards update and preparation for ICN. Works with various functional teams, as well as legal counsel within the region, to identify, assess and develop action plans with respect to Independent Third-Party and Improper Payments risk.
This Compliance Specialist must have a proven record of being thorough, fair, and objective with attention to detail, and be timely and able to adapt to working in a diverse and multicultural work environment.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Review compliance dashboards and conduct analytics on compliance data (IPP, Indirect Channel, Payments, Open Reporting, Order booking, sales and revenue) trends in partnership with Monitoring team and zone compliance teams
- Provide Independent Third Party (ITP) and Improper Payment (IPP) regulatory and compliance advice, including advising the businesses/operational teams in AKA, India & South Asia, Japan, Latin America
- Assist ICN Compliance Lead and Compliance team on preparing and conducting Compliance Operating Reviews (COR), Preparation for Compliance Review Boards (CRB)
- Support projects for the regional business to ensure operations are complying with applicable regulations and GE policies governing ITP and IPP
- Supporting rigorous processes including compliance trainings in GEHC businesses in the area of Independent Third Party and Improper Payment Prevention compliance for the region.
- Liaise with internal/external counsel and cross functional teams/compliance groups in engineering, IT, sourcing, manufacturing, service and other departments to establish ITP and IPP compliance priorities and identify/address compliance gaps.
- Responsible for timely and accurately completing the due diligence, onboarding and training for Independent Third Parties that are selected by the business for commercial activities
- Support delivery of targeted Independent Third Party training to business leaders, operational teams and others.
- Review, approve and monitor Improper Payment compliance activities
- Maintain good business relationships, working to partner cross-functionally to understand and address needs and roadblocks and facilitate change as appropriate.
- Assist region head of compliance in all compliance activities and agenda and support in cultivating highly-engaged partnerships with peers (USCAN, EMEA, China) to leverage scale and support consistent strategies for multi-modality and cross-P&L business projects
**Required Qualifications**
- Audit, Law, finance or management degree and/or in house Legal or Compliance or audit experience
- Demonstrated 3+ years’ experience in Compliance and/or internal audit in multinational companies operating in the Healthcare Industry.
- Previous exposure to medical and pharmaceutical industry regulations
- Solid understanding of business transactions, accounting systems, collaborations and market dynamics to meet customers’ needs.
- Strong skills in data analytics and preparing dashboards for risk assessment and risk management
- Strong project management and prioritization skills, ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to work in complex environments with multiple clients and short timelines.
- Experience in delivering training to wide groups
- Strong problem resolution and facilitation skills
- Strong follow-up and attention to detail to ensure issues are investigated promptly and thoroughly
- Strong ethical values and attitude towards independency, rigor, persistency and problem-solving.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, excellent interpersonal skills and personal accountability.
