
Church Administrator

**Primary Function**:
To oversee all activities of the main church office and perform administrative and secretarial duties in support of the Pastors and Executive Board Members.
**Main Duties**:
Administrative:
Manage daily office operations.
Maintain the Membership Database (attendance, registrations, life events).
Notify staff and board of member events (e.g., deaths, births, hospitalizations).
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and calls.
Maintain office equipment and supplies.
Assist in obtaining quotations from vendors.
Process monthly payroll and prepare vouchers/cheques.
Maintain accurate financial records.
General:
Distribute weekly worship bulletins.
Supply Communion elements and bottled water.
Coordinate special events.
Liaise with outside vendors.
Oversee cleaning and gardening contractors.
Ensure church office cleanliness.
Other Duties:
Perform any additional tasks assigned by Pastors, Elders, and the Executive Board for the smooth operation of church ministry and worship.
**Requirements**:
Full-time salaried position.
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (up to 42 hours per week).
Some experience in admin is advantageous
Professional conduct and positive disposition.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite; financial software knowledge an advantage).
Proficiency in standard office equipment.
Ability to work independently, with attention to detail and follow-through.
Willingness to learn new technologies and skills, seeking training and resources when needed.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin.
Minimum qualification: GCE A Levels or Diploma.
