
Church Administrator

Grace Baptist Church Ltd (GBCL) is a registered charity supervised by the Commissioner of
Charities, and jointly managed by the Board of Directors (BOD) and the Congregational Leadership
(CL). The Church conducts religious faith-based activities and has two congregations - the English
Congregation and the Chinese Congregation.
The Church Administrator plays a crucial role in the efficient functioning of the Church by
overseeing and managing day-to-day administrative operations. The role involves working closely
with the BOD to ensure that various aspects of our church operations - financial, human
resources, and facilities management, and general church office administration - adhere to all
applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication
skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the BOD, Congregational Leaders (CL), Ministry
Staff and members to achieve the vision of our church.
This is a full-time position based in an office environment within the church facility. Occasional
evening and weekend work may be required as needed to accommodate church events and
activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or management, or a related field (preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Possess a basic understanding of business finance and accounting.
Have strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Understanding of church operations and a commitment to the church’s mission.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the church and work effectively in a team environment.
